There is hope and healing.
Emily Clayton, LPCC
Emily Clayton, LPCC believes that life can be challenging at times and seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re used to carrying everything on your own. Her goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported — without judgment.
Emily has great passion for providing individual counseling to children and adolescents (10+), and to women (21+) as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, relationship stress, life changes/challenges, and more.
Emily is trained in EMDR and can provide that to anyone who wishes.
She is also passionate about supporting individuals duringthe perinatal and postpartum stages of life.
Many of her clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break, or exhausted from trying to manage everything alone. Emily is here to help support you in understanding yourself better and building the tools needed to cope with life's ups and downs. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and integrative as she tailors therapy to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She believes therapy works best when it feels like a real relationship built on trust, honesty, and safety. Together, you'll work to better understand what’s keeping you stuck while building tools that help you move toward the life and relationships you want. Emily strives to provide a nonjudgemental and safe space as she supports her clients in their journey to mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. She can integrate faith into sessions for those who desire it, always respecting the unique beliefs and preferences of each individual person.
