Dan Foster
Meet Dan Foster, a dedicated Clinical Social Worker Therapist at Center Counseling working part-time on Wednesdays in Washburn, ND.
His inspiring philosophy: he believes that every individual, both children and adults, are extraordinary survivors of difficult life circumstances. He appreciates developing genuine relationships with his clients and finds that opportunities and solutions are often found through relationship. Dan has 3 decades of experience working with children (8+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
In working with children andadolescents: Dan draws from extensive training and experience to drive core beliefs that: acting out (defiance, rebellion, etc.) and/or pain turned inwards (self-injury, anxiety, depression, etc.) most often express themselves as masks of pain, shame, and fear. The power of every single positive relationship with a dependable and trustworthy adult opens huge doors for kids to risk making healing connections. Dan desires to help through a strengths-based approach. Children who have experienced trauma need skillful and loving support to help them better manage their strong emotions and behaviors. He understands how important it is to be a trustworthy, healthy, and consistent adult in their life who can see beyond their pain and help them develop better capacities for the challenges they face. His approach in therapy sessions incorporates sensory, patterned, rhythmic, relationship-rich, interventions. This approach often offers “reachable- teachable moments” for youth who are struggling.
In working alongside adults: Dan believes that with support, coaching, and readiness for change; we all can make shifts that allow us to better manage challenges. There is hope. He desires to help his clients recover their strengths, abilities, and opportunities through counseling. Therapy can be a healing space and it’s a journey of readiness you don’t have to walk alone. Healing is a process, and it can start today.
The counseling office is located in Journey Church in Washburn, ND

Keri Milas
Life can be hard—there are seasons in our journey that can feel isolating and overwhelming. Keri believes everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and my goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can show up just as you are.
She especially enjoys working with adolescents. Keri knows it’s not always easy for young people to open up, so she focuses on building trust and creating a space where they feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. Every adolescent deserves the chance to feel valued, supported, and hopeful about their future.
She also finds it a privilege to walk alongside couples who may feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Reaching out for help can feel like a big step, and she is here to support both of you as you strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and navigate challenges together.
She walks with people who are experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and PTSD, adoption/foster care, infertility, infidelity, and relationship issues.
Her goal is to help you not just get through difficult moments, but to grow from them. Together, you’ll build insight, develop practical tools, and move toward the life and relationships you want. Keri finds that it is truly a privilege to be part of that journey with you.
Dayna is a full-time conventional and Christian counselor based in Williston. She works with adolescents (13+), adults, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, family disruption, adoption-related concerns, church hurt, and spiritual abuse.
Dayna believes positive change is possible for everyone. While healing often involves hard work and honesty, she enjoys creating a space where clients feel safe being themselves while digging deep into places where healing can take place. Dayna is especially passionate about helping people understand the origin of their struggles and build healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others.
Dayna approaches counseling from a holistic perspective, recognizing that emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical well-being are deeply connected. She believes lasting change happens when people are provided the opportunity to be known, understood, and supported as they grow. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they step into freedom, connection, and hope. What Dayna loves most about counseling is helping people recognize the beauty, value, and strength that already exists within them, often before they can see it for themselves.
A recurring theme she sees in her work is that many people feel alone in their pain. Dayna is here to guide those who feel disconnected or are experiencing pain in their closest relationships. She meets with teens struggling to find connection, parents carrying overwhelming stress, couples desiring better relationships, or people wrestling with the impact of past wounds. Dayna helps clients explore their experiences with compassion and honesty. Together, they identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop new pathways toward healing and healthier relationships.
At Center Counseling, part of our mission is to raise up more counselors, specifically Christian counselors. It is a privilege to lead, encourage, and support students seeking a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. Our interns operate under the licensure of their clinical supervisors, Greg Molinaro, LPCC and Sara Knudson, LPCC.
Student Interns
Meet Les Wolfgram our current practicum and intern student. He is accepting new clients. Les Wolfgram brings a genuine concern for clients, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them toward healing and wholeness, having served as a parish pastor for 34 years and as a volunteer emergency services chaplain for 28 years. He sees each person as a unique creation of God with the potential to be restored in body, mind, and spirit. By listening with compassion and celebrating God’s gifts in each individual, he offers hope grounded in grace and truth over time. He is here to listen, to understand, and to help you sort through your situation, however complicated, hopeless, or overwhelming it may seem. Les offers mental health counseling to bring healing, hope, and wholeness to those in need.
Les will give you space to begin exploring your thoughts and feelings in a nonjudgmental, safe environment. He recognizes that our minds are beautifully complex, capable of great pleasure but also of enduring significant pain. Trauma, emotional distress, or mental illness can negatively impact anyone, and when it does, we are left searching for answers without knowing where to find help. If you are struggling, worried, angry, sad, or afraid, Les will walk with you through your journey so you can experience hope, healing, and life in Jesus. He views healthy relationships as the hallmark of happiness and health.
Les creates a counseling environment where strong, trusting relationships can grow, helping clients feel understood and supported. He believes that by exploring how you were formed and shaped through early relationships and life experiences, you can begin to understand patterns that still shape how we think, feel, and respond today. Due to neglect or inadequate care from primary caregivers during early childhood, adults may experience unhealthy emotions, poor behavior, and unhealthy relationships. Les offers the relational nutrients necessary to help clients live a more fulfilling, healthier life.
His training allows him to explore deeper relational patterns while also offering practical tools for change. He has a passion for working with married couples, families, individuals navigating grief and anxiety, and those exploring family-of-origin concerns. He recognizes the challenges of people living with addiction and will help navigate choices that will benefit you and those who love you.
Les is married to his wife of 36 years, Denise, a teacher and principal at Martin Luther School. They have three grown children. Outside of counseling and his role as chaplain, he enjoys spending time with their two dogs, Jasper and Addie, and Vinny, their cat, caring for his yard, and taking walks with Denise.
