There is hope and healing.
Les Wolfgram, Intern
Les Wolfgram brings a genuine concern for clients, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them toward healing and wholeness, having served as a parish pastor for 34 years and as a volunteer emergency services chaplain for 28 years. He sees each person as a unique creation of God with the potential to be restored in body, mind, and spirit. By listening with compassion and celebrating God’s gifts in each individual, he offers hope grounded in grace and truth over time. He is here to listen, to understand, and to help you sort through your situation, however complicated, hopeless, or overwhelming it may seem. Les offers mental health counseling to bring healing, hope, and wholeness to those in need.
Les will give you space to begin exploring your thoughts and feelings in a nonjudgmental, safe environment. He recognizes that our minds are beautifully complex, capable of great pleasure but also of enduring significant pain. Trauma, emotional distress, or mental illness can negatively impact anyone, and when it does, we are left searching for answers without knowing where to find help. If you are struggling, worried, angry, sad, or afraid, Les will walk with you through your journey so you can experience hope, healing, and life in Jesus. He views healthy relationships as the hallmark of happiness and health.
Les creates a counseling environment where strong, trusting relationships can grow, helping clients feel understood and supported. He believes that by exploring how you were formed and shaped through early relationships and life experiences, you can begin to understand patterns that still shape how we think, feel, and respond today. Due to neglect or inadequate care from primary caregivers during early childhood, adults may experience unhealthy emotions, poor behavior, and unhealthy relationships. Les offers the relational nutrients necessary to help clients live a more fulfilling, healthier life.
His training allows him to explore deeper relational patterns while also offering practical tools for change. He has a passion for working with married couples, families, individuals navigating grief and anxiety, and those exploring family-of-origin concerns. He recognizes the challenges of people living with addiction and will help navigate choices that will benefit you and those who love you.
Les is married to his wife of 36 years, Denise, a teacher and principal at Martin Luther School. They have three grown children. Outside of counseling and his role as chaplain, he enjoys spending time with their two dogs, Jasper and Addie, and Vinny, their cat, caring for his yard, and taking walks with Denise.
