There is hope and healing.
Meet Brita Goss, a dedicated mental health professional committed to bringing guidance and compassion to individuals towards healing and growth in every session. She can provide in-person or virtual counseling sessions.
She is a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and has experience working with children ages 3 and older who may have social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties. The children are quick to gravitate towards her bubbly and curious personality, which creates a safe space where they can feel comfortable in each session.
Brita works with children and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, relationship issues, attachment, self-esteem issues, parenting/family issues and life stage adjustments. She also has experience in assisting with symptom alleviation and helping create functional changes in individuals with ADHD and Autism. Her genuine care and concern is what helps each of her clients feel seen as God sees them and heard as they explore complex feelings and navigate difficult situations. She is motivated to help each person reach a moment in their counseling session where they realize that the small changes that are happening can cause a cascading effect of positive change in their lives. Brita seeks to empower clients to live out their purpose with confidence and clarity.
Outside of her practice, Brita embraces roles as a devoted spouse, parent, and active member of the community through volunteer work in children's and women's ministry at Buffalo City Church. She offers counseling from a Christian perspective for those who are seeking it. Brita believes that God has equipped you with what you need to live out His plan for your life.
You don’t have to do this healing journey alone. Reach out today to get scheduled with Brita.
